HERMÈS - PARIS "White Garden" Hermès offices in Nouvelle Athènes, Paris

Du Rivau Architects

The heart of the Parisian block of "New Athens" is the extension of the Hermès Paris offices.
The garden design consists of plants with white flowers sourced exclusively from the Paris Basin.
Through a variety of landscaped environments, we address the primary challenges of providing adequate natural light to the offices and ensuring accessibility to all areas of the shared garden. We will then explore, within a broader context, how to enhance its ability to mitigate the urban heat island effect and promote urban ecological diversity by encouraging native biodiversity. Several anterooms extend the workspaces into the garden, while also encouraging the organization of events on spacious decking.
