Garden of the French Embassy in Thailand in Bangkok
The garden symbolizes the ties between France and Thailand. The main courtyard is planted with ancient bonsai trees, in keeping with the traditions of Thai gardening. In the center of the flowerbed, between the French and European flagpoles, a traveler's tree symbolizes the friendship and exchanges between France and Thailand. A cinematic effect is created as one walks into the chancellery, the fan shape gradually revealing itself as one approaches the building's entrance.
