Landscaping of the terraces of the Club des Loges restaurant at Roland Garros, SEMPERVIRENS Frédéric-Charles AILLET (Director) Raphaël Favory and Pierre Sarrien
Concept: The new welded coten steel supports adapt to the topography of the natural terrain. The same orange shade of iron oxide (Fe2O3) colors these organic blades and the clay of the tennis courts. The project enhances the existing landscape heritage.
Perennials and shrubs bloomed during the tournament. Lighting was added. Mist sprayers were installed at the top of the embankment. The project was designed and completed over an eight-month period, staying within budget.
