Roland Garros - Cinematic Gardens

Paris / 2019

The Cinematic Gardens of Roland Garros Stadium - Terraces of Suzanne Lenglen Stadium
Sempervirens agent: Lots: Landscaping, Locksmithing (including execution), Electricity, Irrigation.

The laboratory of Étienne-Jules Marey (1830-1904), the father of chronophotography, was located on the Roland Garros site. The landscaping evokes the trajectories of balls.
Concept: The perception of the balls evolves depending on the viewpoint, from the representation of an 'explicit' bounce to a constellation of spheres. The bounces take on their full meaning from inside the restaurant and the men's and women's warm-up area.
