Alpine building of the thermal baths of Aix-les-Bains, Vincent Callebaut architect representative Architect of historical monuments Archipat. SEMPERVIRENS landscaping lot complete mission in progress.
Concept: The revegetation of the architecture is inspired by alpine ecosystems, their staging according to altitude and their orientations in relation to the sun. Irrigation of the plantations is also done on the principle of gravity flow to minimize maintenance. The plant palette is adapted to extreme weather conditions caused by northerly winds and snowfall.
Located in the spa resort of Aix-les-Bains, the project takes place above the Art-Déco thermal baths and allows the complete renovation of the listed building.
