The sundial for the blind SEMPERVIRENS LANDSCAPERS:
Solar time is revealed by touch, thanks to a cool surface where the shadow of the style is projected. The thermal contrast is amplified on the dial by metal boxes arranged perpendicular to the path of the Sun's rays. This design allows tactile reading of the time, from dawn to dusk, with remarkable precision. The style is parallel to the axis of the poles, thus, it offers the blind the opportunity to perceive, through the sensations of their fingers, the harmony and celestial order, intimately connecting them to the architecture of the solar system. This dial, invented during his studies by Frédéric-Charles Aillet, was built for the first time in a secret garden.
