Legrand, a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure, wishes to bring together its various teams in the Ile-de-France region in a single building in Bagnolet, in order to promote conditions for exchanges and coordination between the various players on an international scale and to improve the reception and hospitality conditions for international customers and partners.
The Legrand Campus Paris project consists of the renovation of the existing building and, on the other hand, the new extension, intended to house the regional sales department for Ile-de-France, as well as a large-format showroom of equipment from all the Group's brands: INNOVAL.
We decided to organize the buildings around an interior garden, in order to recreate a sort of cloister, and we took the approach further by organizing a circular promenade around this central patio, starting on the site's green roofs, then gently sloping towards the heart of the cloister. In order to give a new identity to the building, and also to control the light input and modulate the views towards the interior of the buildings, we covered the facades with a metal trellis. On the roofs, a solar farm provides part of the site's energy needs.
In this setting, the interior fittings, from the showroom to the agora, used for the Group's conventions, are in line with the technological excellence and industrial agility of the Group, and allow for all new working methods, nomadic or in project mode.
